R.C Wardell Pulp Artist Early Aviation Painting

Early aviation painting by Robert Wardell (1886-1966). Wardell studied art under Dean Cornwell. He is famous for painting many pulp covers for titles such as Under Fire, Flying Stories, Flying Aces, Prison Stories, Sky Birds, Far East Adventure Stories, Murder Stories and many others.
For all those seeking a bargain I have about seven original art items in tonight’s Heritage Sunday Art Auction including including a famous Alex Toth Splash page which is being punished for Toth using a felt marker to make his paragraphs of text lighter shades. Get this, a splash page only 260 bucks. I’d rather see one of you guys and gals get it cheap.
