Description

Our story thus far:

The Red Skull has captured the Invaders and brought them under his mind control. The one Invader NOT captured, Bucky Barnes, is desperately trying to come up with a way to rescue them. He decides to force his way into a New York radio station -- currently broadcasting a message to the nation -- and commandeer the microphone to send out a call-to-arms to the other superheroes of the era. Needless to say, this does not sit well with the station's owner and the military police on hand. Fisticuffs ensue.

This is a 2-page sequence, with the original art by Don Heck and Vince Colletta. The redrawn version is by Eric Koda, who did a killer job depicting the fight between Bucky and the MPs. Eric, as always, is a pleasure to do business with and is one of the best bargains in the business. His work here is as stellar as his work on Avengers and X-Men for Marvel. Eric's got that leaning forward pose down pat. He ought redo some of the Crusaders pages. He'd be a great fit for something like that.
