DescriptionWhen I think of Goldfinger, three scenes come quickly to mind. The first is when Bond finds Goldfinger cheating and forces him to lose, the second is the appearance of Odd Job and the last is the scene where Goldfinger is sucked out of the airplane window. There are lots of other good scenes in that book, but those are what I think of immediately.This is from that first scene. Bond has found Jill Masterson helping Goldfinger to win and decides to "play" with Goldfinger. Also, this daily has the great line, "Goldfinger loves gold. Really loves it." This daily was published in October of 1960 and shows Jill on her balcony with Bond peering through high-powered binoculars. 1960s Bond... those were the days. This daily has some excellent work although mold shows up in the first panel. Still classic portrait of Bond by McLusky. Social/Sharing |
