Mantis by Al Milgrom

I'm glad I finally had an opportunity to meet longtime comic book creator Al Milgrom. He's done really good work as a writer, penciler, inker and editor in a career that's lasted 40 years. Mantis was perhaps a bit of an unusual choice to have Milgrom sketch for me, but he had actually drawn the character in a few issues of West Coast Avengers. Since I liked how he had depicted her, it made sense to ask him to draw a piece in this sketchbook. Milgrom did a good job. I love the inking of her hair. He also added a bit of the wacky humor he was known for in his Editori-Al strips in Marvel Fanfare.
