Ghost Tree #1 pg 4

Current IDW 4 issue title.

It's a refreshing non super hero supernatural story set in Japan. The art and story compliment each other perfectly. I really enjoy the simplistic detail of Gane's style. It was a pleasantly surprising enjoyable read. I look forward to picking up the rest of the mini series.

Well the comic is called Ghost Tree. Here is the 1st image of said tree in the comic. I'm no arborist but any first panel apps are AOK in my book.

Comic Blogger Mateo Guerro sums up the main character best - "If Brandt is haunted by anything, it’s nostalgia." It reminds me of why a lot of us are drawn to this hobby. Here is a link to his full review:
