The Realm #4 - first Deadworld story and first page with King Zombie - Page 8 (1986)

The first page with King Zombie, from the first Deadworld story, which appeared as a backup story in Realm #4. This post-apocalyptic, zombie tale - which came out 17 years before The Walking Dead - has a striking number of similarities. Except Deadworld also has the intelligent, Harley-riding King Zombie who hunts the living main characters throughout the series (take that Alpha). This scan doesn't do Vince Locke's outstanding art justice.
