X-23 #11 cover by Ashley Witter

As is the case with most of her covers, Ashley did this one as a detailed pencil drawing on 11x17 board and then painted/finished it digitally.

This cover reflects the growing conflict between Laura (X-23) and her little clone-sister Gabby (Honey Badger) taking place in the pages of the comic. A curiosity is that if you look at the published cover, you'll notice that the claw placement on Laura's right hand is wrong, while it's actually correct on the original. Ashley told me that this was a mistake that resulted from moving some things around in the digital stages and that wasn't caught until after it was too late to change.
