Description

The Punisher owes alot to Spidey since he headlined the iconic ASM 129. And from that time he's been featured in many issues either butting heads with Spidey or getting along (kinda) but the one constant we always had was an issue filled with action.

Theres no need to mention that Paolo is a superstar artist. He usually works with his dad (how cool is that) but this early issue was fully inked by him on the same board. I just love the Matrix-style pose Spidey has with the Punisher shooting away side by side. Really gives it an action movie vibe which fits well with the Punisher. At least Spidey's not in his scopes...this time.

Paolo has been one of the most creative artists in the biz since he arrived. Gotta love that Spidey pose!

The Punisher and Spidey have been a fascinating match-up ever since the Punisher's debut in ASM 129, and this image by Rivera is a fantastic portrayal of both characters in action. Congrats man!

I was about to ask if it came in two pieces. Just read your description of the piece. I LOVE IT! You're spot on about it looking like an actual comic book cover from the better days of comic covers.
