Description

Walker at work! A lovely chase scene page from 'Roleplay', where Oeming beautifully ratchets up the tension as Detective Walker pursues a suspect across the rooftops.

And it’s probably because of that tension that I crack up when we get to panel 6, and see Walker’s POV as he peers over the edge of the building... where the "graffiti" of Mike's signature and the Walker head sketch greets us. The "gag" is set up perfectly by Walker's arched eyebrow in panel 5…

It's always fun to see some terrific Oeming storytelling muscle and style (which was already solidly defined by this second arc of 'Powers').
