DescriptionBecause I knew Rich was going to be at Flame Con and I wasn't sure when I'd see him at another convention, I gave him my sketchbook a week before the show to work on this gorgeous piece.This is the female version of Colossal Boy from the incredibly obscure Wildstorm Comics version of the Legion of Super-Heroes. During Mark Millar's run, in the arc with the fake Authority, an issue opened with the villains slaughtering a group of teen superheroes from the future. Said teens were in the present to take down the fake Authority because their actions were going to lead to an ecological apocalypse. Unfortunately, this Hit-Squad of Super-Teens gets slaughtered in four pages and are never mentioned again. It sucks because Art Adams' designs for them are all really neat, especially Lightning Lass who has a Bride of Frankenstein look going for her. I can tell this is supposed to be Gim's counterpart because, while they're incredibly easy to miss, there IS a Shrinking Violet. Social/Sharing |
