CLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!Auction #228 will open for bidding on October 15, 2019. 13x19-3/8" DC Comics artboard has Todd McFarlane's pen and ink original art for page 7 of "Infinity Inc." #18, published by DC Sept. 1985. Art was inked by Pablo Marcus. Art features 11 panels. Helix (see previous item for brief info on this supervillain team) members being chased by police for stealing food from restaurant. Mr. Bones is seen driving pickup truck, his erratic driving causing Arak, Baby Boom, Kritter and Penny Dreadful to slam into truck's door, much to their annoyance. Bones suggests the restaurant wants their food back, causing Kritter and Baby Boom to throw the food onto the police cars before Baby Boom uses her telekinesis to blow them up. The Helix characters were co-created by McFarlane and made their first appearance in the previous issue of "Infinity Inc." Top margin has inked partial title and issue/page numbers as well as month of publication. DC Copyright stamp on back. Artboard has some lt. scattered margin wear but art remains clean and Exc. McFarlane has signed bottom center margin in black ink. Nice example of McFarlane's art from early in his career and for a title he had a significant run on (providing the art for "Infinity Inc." #14-37).
