I had loved the Unknown Solider and all of the great Kubert war covers growing up. I generally preferred the fedora and trenchcoat spy version of the character, but I couldn't resist this one: a large image Soldier action shot with girl, guns blazing, ice collapsing beneath their feet. While I generally chase pieces I had a connection to when I was younger, I don't even remember seeing this particular issue back in the day. But it has become one of my all time favorite Kubert covers and I'm thrilled to have this one.
