Frank Cirocco was a guest at Steve Wyatt's
South City Comic Con in San Mateo, California, with a small selection of artwork for sale. I picked out three
Reader Rabbit illustrations for The Learning Company. When educational CD-ROM's were big, I saw a lot of
Reader Rabbit kits at the library where I work. Each kit included a CD-ROM and numerous little booklets. Frank was running a commercial art business Lightsource Studios with partner Gary Winnick. To ink these drawings, Frank brought on
Mick Gray who was a guest at the show. Frank signed them for me and followed me over to see Mick's reaction. Frank and Mick had a good time over these little bits of fun. Frank told some stories of his early days in the business working in New York at Continuity under Neal Adams.
