DescriptionI always wanted an inked version of this cover art, but of course I would never want anyone to ink directly on the pencils. So I converted the scan to cyan (blue) and printed it on Strathmore Bistol paper. Joe Giella asked me how I wanted him to work and my reply was ink it as he thought fit, that it should be a Kirby/Giella piece and not just follow the lines. I admit I had a long wait before the work was actually done, but it was worth it. Thanks to Jeff Harnett for arranging this and of course to Joe Giella.Originally it was Jim Steranko who reworked Jack Kirby's pencils of the Captain America figure, but I believe the consensus is that it was John Romita. Congrats. Joe did an awesome job. And he one of the nicest in the persons I know.
