Description

A4 colour (inks, coloured pencils, spray paint - you name it) study.
One of my earliest (possibly even the very first) purchase from Ben, this was obtained on the strength of what was essentially a 'begging letter' email from me, speculatively and optimistically asking whether he might have anything lying around that he'd be willing to sell.
This piece, together with a 'sister' (pen-and-ink) prelim, were thus the ones that kicked off by obsession with Ben's art and my determination to try and obtain (ideally, directly from him rather than through some profiteering Third Party) as many more pieces of his extraordinary and unique art as I could find. And afford.
Ladytron was a character of whom I'd even heard at that point: it was a Ben Oliver piece - and that, to me, was all that mattered.
