Description

This beautiful piece of Stefreeze goodness end a long chase. Brian doesn't tend to do West Coast shows, and those are all I do, so I have never been able to get a sketch from him in person at a show. But through friends I was able to make his list for a pickup at NYCC, but he wasn't able to get to it there. So instead he did it at home and brought it to Baltimore, where a friend of a friend picked it up and mailed it out to me. So I finally have my Zealot sketch from Brian, and another box checked off on my Zealot project. (to get as many Wildstorm alums to sketch her for me as possible)
The piece itself is stunning. He uses so many colors and blends so well. The look he captures on her face, the lines and shadows, just incredible! I love how the paint shines when held at an angle to the light. I'm told Brian said how he loves drawing Zealot, so I think he put a little something more in there. :) But I am a very happy guy with this one.

Huge props to my buddy Hector for helping me get this. He was able to set up pre-show commissions from Brian and arrange for his friend to pick up at Baltimore for us. Wouldn't have gotten it without him, and so happy that I did finally get one!
