DescriptionJohn T. McCutcheon - Editorial Cartoon Original Art dated 1-7 (c. 1924)One of the most prominent political cartoonists for his era, John T. McCutcheon began his career in 1889 and worked until 1946. This day's cartoon took a look at what the new year had in store. Created in ink and Conte crayon over graphite on illustration board with an image area of 14" x 16". The board is toned with small specks of discolorations in places, some edge and handling wear, dust shadows along the edges, pinholes, unevenly trimmed borders, and smudging. In Very Good condition.
