Batman

****Post Script: (July 2021) More than a little disappointed to realise that what I'd hitherto always naively thought to be a fairly masterful and dramatic (and, more crucially, original) depiction of Batsy is in fact yet another 'Swipe' - this time of the Jim Murray cover to the '90s Batman/Judge Dredd mini-series 'Die Laughing'!

I'm relatively new to the sphere of Comic Art, but am beginning to realise just how frequently such instances of deftly-rendered (but often uncredited) plagiarism occur within this industry. I cannot be alone in finding it immensely sad that so many artists, individuals who are clearly very talented in their own right and who have built up solid reputations over the years, seem to resort to such activity - often under the guise of creating a 'homage'.
