In this sequence, the “priest" and the young girl are right in the middle of it. If you felt bad for her on the previous page (right here in this very gallery), please don’t as she’s obviously enjoying it as much as she can (despite the gilt I mean).

This one is a half splash in which the "priest" and the girl get interrupted mid-act by one of her friend (another heroine of the serie) who’s going to give her hell for this transgression.

I found this to be somewhat provocative (in a light hearted way, which is the general tone of the book, as all parties involved are consenting adults here. It gets better for both later on). So if you are offended or find it’s bad taste, it’s your right but please don’t tell me ;)

Atilio’s creative process is bit special as the full page is composed of art both on the front and reverse (please see below for the second part) and then recomposed digitally. You will find precise blue pencil on both sides, sometimes with overlapping versions of the same panel. It also allows to peek on how the page was created as some blue pencils option do not make it to the inked stage.
