Gene Day Bathos Complete One-Page Story Original Art (Day, 1974) A self-publisher in Canada before his mainstream breakout at Star*Reach and Marvel, Day distinguished himself in 1974 with this amusing vignette of misinterpretation in the early days of humankind. A copyright notice cites "Day's Canuck Comix,". Ink over graphite on Bristol board. Image area, 8" x 12".
