Legend by David Gemmell cover prelim sketch by Les Edwards

Legend by David Gemmell was one of the very first fantasy novels I ever read and really loved. I was lucky enough to find the artist and subsequently this piece of art after watching 'Why Heroquest is so great' by BardicBroadcasts on youtube. If your interests skew that way please look up both of them.

"Preliminary sketch for an artwork commissioned by Century for David Gemmell's novel. The artwork was also used on the Italian edition and on a ZX Spectrum computer game. ( Those were the days ). The publishers managed to damage the painting beyond repair so this is the only record I have of this painting."
