Description

OK, I admit I didn't really know who he was when I got this. I was in line for Dale Keown and Turner and Manipul where the first two artists in the row to get free sketches from, so I did. This was in 2002 so they were the newer guys.
Anyway, he asked what I wanted and since I didn't know what to say I said "Draw what you want". He drew a sea horse. I heard him tell someone else later that it was an inside joke, that he always drew a seahorse when people said it was up to him.
Given what I knew about him later it made sense but was juts fun at the time.
An artist taken way to soon.

Love it, and this sea horse has more detail in it than many other artists' convention sketches. I'm sad I never got to meet Mike in person, but he was a talent taken way too soon.
