DescriptionTALES FROM THE CRYPT original art, HBO TV Series, Mike Vosburg, IN THE GROOVEMike Vosburg - Tales From the Crypt TV Series Preliminary Cover Illustration Original Art (1994) Vosburg illustrated the "Tales from the Crypt" TV series comic book covers and designed them to look like the original 1950s comics. He was originally hired to do concept drawings for the wraparound sequence, but ended up storyboarding the title segment as well as illustrating almost every cover used in the show's 93 episodes. Preliminary illustration done in color markers over graphite for the episode "In The Groove" (based on Crime Suspenstories #21), measuring about 6" x 9". Social/Sharing |
