DescriptionCover art I art directed for 'The Kolchak Papers', a book that collected both of Jeff Rice's original Kolchak novels in a single volume. This art was used on the trade paperback as well as the signed hardcover edition by Jeff Rice - a rare signature indeed. Original painting by Douglas Klauba. From what I was told by the artist, the finished piece sold faster than any other Kolchak piece he'd ever done up to that point.Social/Sharing |

What a great peice of Kolchak cover art. It captured the essence of the series so well. So evocative.
