DescriptionAwesome commission by longtime GI Joe artist Rod Whigham. I wanted an image that captured the Battle of Springfield from GI Joe ARAH #50. I asked Rod to do something with Serpentor and provided a list of several favorite Joes who appeared in the issue; this is what he came up with. It has a classic Marvel Comic cover vibe that is fantastic!The Joes pictured (left to right) include: Lady Jaye, Road Block, Flint, Spirit Iron Knife, Gen. Hawk and Stalker. Rod was the first to draw Serpentor (Issue #49) and he nailed it again here - very pleased with the final result. Social/Sharing |

Very cool idea for a commission. I must have read my brother's copy of #50 ten times when I was a kid.
