Strip features five panels, beginning w/Popeye and Castor Oyl leaving an angry-looking Olive Oyl and Mr. Vanripple to find Vanripple's daughter June. A tightly bound Jack Snork lays at Olive's feet. Popeye asks Castor how he came to be involved w/this particular detective job, to which Castor is evasive in his answer. Strip ends w/the pair coming upon a large locked iron door barring their path. Zaboly has signed last panel, his cartoon bee signature appearing at lower left. First panel has KFS copyright strip paste-overs. Top/bottom left margins have neatly penciled dates. Margins have some scattered dust soiling and first three panels have some wear to word balloons areas as originally altered but o/w art remains clean and Exc.
