Description
Alexander noted, on a photo copy of this image, "portfolio piece - unpublished (if you're wondering what it is, it's a twin-hulled dirigible with an airport on top)." This is a Large and impressive work, one of Paul's best in gouache on illustration board backed by wood panel, 19” x 34” and framed (no glass) by the artist to 22” x 37” - signed bottom right.

Purchased from Jane Frank at wow-art.

Thanks. I'm a bit scifi style light, so need a few to balance things better :)

He did two of these for an article in a men's magazine Oui Magazine April 1976  - I own the one they used - both are really neat futuristic paintings was tempted by this one but I thin kboth are really large!

Interesting history, thanks! I got it from Jane when he had to sell his art, but didn't get much context.
