Description

Love Frank Miller art, and when he's not inking himself, Klaus is just sooooo awesome inking him! Been eyeing this page for the longest time, and finally decided I need to pull the trigger. Such a great annual from back in the day when, for some reason, it feels like annuals meant more. You know? Gotta love the predicament that Doc Ock puts Spider-Man in with chasing him or saving The Punisher from dying!

Keep in mind that Frank and Klaus are the dynamic art tandem that took the Daredevil series to new heights in the early 1980's teams up to bring Spider-Man and the Punisher together again! But this time the web-slinger and the gun-toting vigilante are not facing the likes of Jigsaw or the Hitman! Their adversary is a certain six-armed super-villain...planning nothing less than the murder of five million people! The Punisher takes the first shot at Dr. Octopus in the city morgue! And later on the wondrous wall-crawler takes the last one at the Daily Bugle! Can Spidey get the story to press before Doc Ock? An excellent annual!

I know how much Ock hates to be interrupted while monologuing, and what an interruption it is! Spidey sure can make an entrance. Fantastic page, and now I must read this issue again.
