A fantastic commission by rising artist Dylan Burnett.

I�ve followed his work on Cosmic Ghost Rider and X-Force and enjoyed it tremendously. He is definitely one to follow and to watch.

When I saw this commission online and then posted in my fellow Belgian collector�s gallery, I found it quite impressive.

The three figures composition, with the meditative state facing us, the one of the left conjuring the Agamotto eye and the one on the right enacting a spell really convey a calm sense of mysticism that perfectly suits the character. I don�t know why but I find strong parallels between this and the early days of the character under Frank Brunner�s pens who was also strongly involving him in mystic imagery.

The flowing capes, the cosmic setting (complete with Kirby dots) continue to establish the piece�s strong composition sense.

The piece is mixed media as well to a truly great result (not sure I could identify them all).

I will thank Klaas, the original commissioner, for the nice chats about it and the great price (for which I feel a bit sorry but I won it at auction).

What a great Dr Strange spell-casting page! And it really is reminiscent of Brunner's style.

I really like how he didn't skimp anywhere on this image from the figures to the background. Uniquely stylized and works particulary well for Doc Strange. As you note, love the 3 figure composition. Congrats!
