Description

I met Nick Dragotta at a local con a few years ago well before he went Absolute and told him how much I loved one of his Silver Surfer commissions he had previously done through Felix. We got to discussing what it was about his commission I loved, which was the unique angle at which he showed Surfer and his board hurtling through space with the stars streaking behind him. Soon we agreed he would do a similar one for me, but he would make it even more angular and in your face. I think you'll agree he did an amazing job, almost Kirbyesque but distinct and tasteful. I vote for Nick as the next Silver Surfer artist! 6"x 9", 2021.

Amazing angle, to say the least!  This is so dynamic, with the Surfer literally coming right at you!  Really like the flowing quality of the lines as far as his design and the zipatone is really a nice capping touch!  Congrats!

Either he has the strongest back calf and heaviest front foot / or the surfer is cookin beyond the speed of light!  Awesome drop.  And surfer next?? You throw in an XMen or one of my favourite stories next we are gonna have words.

A practically perfect Surfer.  Difficult character to do something new with.  This is closest to JR/AW I suppose, but really nice!!
