First Romance Magazine Cover - Unpublished

This is the cover art for an issue of First Romance Magazine, one of Harvey Comics' long line of romance comics from the 1950s. The thing is, I don't see this image as any of the published comics; First Romance stopped appearing on the newsstand with issue 52, so I assume it was intended to be used after that. That puts this being done around 1958 or 1959.

As you can see from the scan, the image seems to depict a shipwrecked trio... the captain and two attractive women in bathing suits. I think that the artist is Al Avison, but that is just a guess. The art has an image area of 10.5" x 15.5" on a larger 12" x 18" board and is very frameable. Also, on the reverse is the pencils for a completely different image (a woman mowing and a man with a rake) that's a lot less provocative than this cover.
