Description

Unidentified 1950s interior illustration; probably from New Worlds. Quinn, a Belfast native, was a prolific British SF artist of the 1950s known for his intricate B&W work. This piece was auctioned at the 15th World Science Fiction Convention, London, England 1957.

Well I'm at a loss here because I've never come across this guys work before but then its so much more fun to make new discoveries. I think this piece is gorgeous and such a charming send off (or reception?)
