Description

Good, solid Justice League stories by Gerry Conway were emblematic of this period but this 3-part JLA-JSA Crossover Event felt just a bit more epic! Probably my favorite Justice League storyline, certainly my favorite period on the League and featuring the Secret Society of Super Villains bent on multi-world domination (and a surprise double-cross!) The cover features so many terrific characters along with the detail work Perez is known for (down to incorporating the logo around the artwork for the suspension tubes). And the trade deal it took to get this along with another Perez cover, although around the turn of this century, is still epic!

Fantastic JLA cover! Perez was a master at squeezing the maximum possible number of characters into one scene and he sure doesn't skimp here. Great line-up of JLA and JSA heroes! Fabulous pick-up!
