Description
Mary Wallace was a concept artist for Rocket Research Corporation, a Seattle-based company that later merged with Aerojet. (Which later merged with RocketDyne. That's the way it goes in the space biz.) The inclusion of the Dyna-Soar space plane, a project that ran from 1957 to cancellation in 1963, neatly pinpoints this piece historically.
