Loved this issue when I was a kid.

It was a slobberknocker of a fight the whole issue between the Mr. Fixit Hulk and the pinecone Thing.

Unfortunately, in this issue, the Hulk does comes in second and he realizes that. It's like a top level athlete who finds out that he doesn't have it anymore. :(

Yeah, I know he lost that one. But even the best still lose sometimes. I can assure you, my good man, HULK is strongest one there is! HULK SMASH!

Oh man, color me green with envy, and Hulkish rage :) I was bidding on this up til the end when it was at auction a year or 2 ago but I'm glad to see it here on CAF! I loved this arc and this issue particularly as Pollard just knocked it out of the park throughout, culminating in this awesome final page splsah. Sincere congrats, Vito!
