David Wright, what can I say, the man could literally draw anything and just oozed class and elegance onto the page!

Very, very happy to have this example, with full energetic backgrounds (if you listen closely you can hear the chatter at the bar) and that stellar portrait of Carol in the last panel. Plus I honestly believe that the gentlemen in the bottom right hand corner of the third panel is David Wright himself (go look at a picture of him and then come back here and let me know what you think). I think he was just trying to make sure he had Carol's back both in and outside of the page lol

Great pub shots! Wright was so good at backgrounds - really, at anything as you say. And that may be him in panel three: believing's as good as being these days.
