This is an original animation production cel used in the classic Video Girl Ai 電影少女 Original Video Animation (OVA). The OVAs are based on Masakazu Katsura's bittersweet manga sharing the same name. Highly recommend reading the manga to enjoy the full story. OVA #1 was first released in Japan on March 27, 1992. In this exact shot Ai-chan thanks a heart-broken Yota for choosing her.
