This is the Original Art for the **CLASSIC** Cover of WHAT IF...? #1 (July 1989); penciled and inked by the amazing Keith Pollard. This issue asks the question: "What If...THE AVENGERS Had Lost The Evolutionary War?". The Evolutionary War was an 11 part cross-over event that was featured in the 1988 Marvel Annuals.

Ahhh... I sure remember this one! I don't think Pollard has ever done a bad cover! Very Cool! Thanks for sharing!

Pollard's one of my all-time favorite artists. Here's a good example of the reasons why. Amazing!
