DescriptionOriginal art "genga" from the anime production of "Gaiking" series Anime TV from the 70'sdrawn on paper, with color pencils and extralarge format like pan cels. Gaiking was released from 1 April 1976 to 27 January 1977 Directed by Tomoharu Katsumata (勝間田 具治, Katsumata Tomoharu, born in February 4, 1938 in Shimoda, Shizuoka, Japan) Written by: Sōji Yoshikawa Haruya Yamazaki Shozo Uehara *Go Nagai (uncredited) Music by Shunsuke Kikuchi Studio Toei Animation, Dynamic Planning (uncredited) * In 1976 Go Nagai collaborates on two perhaps less original series, which have also been transmitted in Italy with good success: Gackeen, the magnetic robot (Magne Robot Ga-Kin) and Gaiking (Daiku Maryu Gaiking). Precisely because of a dispute over Gaiking's rights, Nagai's violent dispute with Toei Animation, which until then had produced all his series, and the consequent separation, is due.
