The 2003 edition of the Nashville Comic and Horror Fest was held in a livestock barn at the Tennessee fairgrounds. All agree it was a poor venue. The Goon was just starting to gain steam and I had seen some of Eric’s “Angel” work for Dark Horse. I walked away from that show with such a cool Powell sketch, i’m always grateful for it and glad for Eric’s success.
