"Beneath that crown beats the heart of a very ordinary man."

Captioned in pencil by Roy Raymonde and signed 'Raymonde rough idea'.

We estimate that this preliminary is from the 70's judging by Roy's style over the years but we cannot give an exact date.

This is a Playboy preliminary artwork by the late cartoonist, Roy Raymonde. One of the top Playboy cartoon contributors for 30 years.

This artwork is in excellent condition. It's been painted in watercolour and sketched wtih ink/pencil. The paper shows natural signs of being old but they have been kept in the darkness of Roy's studio all these years, so have maintained great quality. Please see the photos for full info.

We do advice UV protective glass when buying one of the artworks to maintain the vibrancy.
