I love Ron Lim's art and this is pure 1991 goodness.

It contains the lineup from Avengers: Death Trap, The Vault. Captain America, Iron Man, The Vision, She-Hulk, The Wasp, Hawkeye, Wonder Man, and Hank Pym.

This was a ComicCon print. If you have it, I'd love to see it.

Via Drew: �Ron said he doesn't remember 100%, but he may have done the Avengers piece for Previews, for Diamond Comics Distributors.�

All I know is that Ron spent time perfecting this. The image is better than all his Avengers covers (inked by Palmer) and most of his Cap covers.

Regardless of how it was used/published I agree that it's an outstanding example of Lim's work. You can tell he went to town on it from layout, to illustration, to inks. Great get. Congrats!

This is stunning Lim work! He 100% brought his A game here. I am not sure myself, but a promo poster for ComicCon makes a lot of sense to me, even down to the way he signed the piece. It just has that feel and look, and doesn't quite feel like a pin-up to me. Any chance this is a variant cover, or a commissioned reimagined cover, even though there's no title at top?
