You just reminded me with this piece how back in 2008 Adrienne, Gene's wife, had given me 3 different ones of this exclusive. It was shortly after SDCC and I had just gotten laid off from my job after 19 years in the company. I had been friends with Gene and Adrienne for a few years at thatvpoint. She felt terrible by my news, and she knew I didn't have money for art at the time. So she insisted on giving me the 3 different exclusives with remarks as a gift! That's the kind of beautiful person she was!
