Description

Joe Orlando (assisted by former EC friend George Evans): Classics Illustrated #6 Page 47 Original Art (Gilberton, 1956). Dramatic and unforgettable final page to the adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Tale of Two Cities. Produced in ink over graphite with whiteout on Bristol board with an image area of 12" x 16.75".
The first version from Oct. 1942 was drawn by Stanley Maxwell Zuckerberg, who also contributed the first cover.
