Frank Frazetta Ace McCoy (formerly Johnny Comet)January 29 1953 - The third to last strip in the series. I am posting this because it is a remarkable work of art, and this particular strip has never had a decent reproduction in any publication I have seen so far. Seems to me this is Frazetta pulling out the stops, drawing for himself to show what he could do, knowing the strip was ending. The combination of looseness and incredibly fine detail in the brushwork is amazing. The style is closer to his work on the classic EC and Personal Love comics than to most of the rest of Johnny Comet. The atmosphere and script are also classic.
