His work was a big part of my childhood! Thanks To Mr. Toth for helping define animation art for my generation! He will be missed!

Can't believe I didn't see this until now! Truly heart-breaking and heart-warming all at once. Really cool that you got to know the man himself! As much as he has a reputation for being rough around the edges, all these letters to his fans and friends are proof that he really was a great man. I wish I had gotten to meet him or appreciated his work earlier on. But better late than never! Now he's my all-time artistic hero. I'm sure you know the feeling! Setting the Standard isn't just the name of the book. He raised the bar higher for anyone who ever proclaimed themselves an artist. Thanks for sharing this Scott!
