Kieron Gillen and Jamie McKelvie's The Wicked + The Divine is one of my favorite comics of all time, so I've naturally wanted some original art from it. The trouble is that McKelvie works digitally, so he doesn't produce any original art...
Luckily the structure of the series means that there have been several guest artists, doing one off specials. And one of those artists is the great Ryan Kelly, whom Gillen also worked with on Three (from which I already own a page).
I'm a proud patron of Ryan's Patreon, which means that when I reached the one year anniversary of my support, Ryan had several rewards lined up. One was my choice of an original page of his, with a few exceptions, barring that the page was already sold.
I sent him a list of which pages I'd be interested in, but they had all already been sold, so instead I got this great page.

There's some great acting on this page. Ananke is reveling in how much of an asshole she is. Until Lucifer decides to do something about it, in a wonderfully chilling final panel.

I'm thrilled to finally own a page from this modern classic (which I also wrote about in issue 24 of the Eisner Award-winning PanelxPanel)!
