Taarna #1 pg 22 (2018) - Panel 1

Taarna is fighting for Aghartta against Demon soldiers. This panel shows her leaping onto the bad guy's ride and impaling him with her sword.

Recently purchased some pages from the new comic Taarna directly from the artist, Esau Escorza, in Mexico. The panels are drawn using black ink, but Esau was kind enough to water color each panel for me.

Each page consists of many panels, and Esau did the work on each panel separately, some of which are each quite large.

The story is about a cube that fell from the sky into the the Agharrta capital. People who touched it were corrupted into demons, and the story revolves around battles between those demons and the unaffected Agharttans.

All four covers of this mini-series were painted by Alex Ross.
