Description
A cool page from this seminal Pacheco/Merino collaboration which I rate at the same level of quality as Avengers Forever in their (now sadly distinct) career.

This is a heroes galore with Atom, Flash and old Flash, Wildcat, Hawkman fleeing the possessed Batman & Mr Terrific.

The sense of urgency is palpable from the whole page. From the falling rubble to Flash gathering all the JSAers.

The storytelling is fantastic here (as always with Pacheco) with special attention to body language conveying information.

From the way he is laying on the ground in panel 1, you can really tell that Hawkman is in bad shape. The somewhat ruffled feathers, the way his hands and head lay on the ground.

Atomfs body language in panel 2 adds to this urgency. I love his raised hands for example.

Then we have the anguish of all the teleported heroes as Terrific tempers with the jumpfs coordinates.

Their emotional state is perfectly contradicted by evil Batman & Terrificfs eerily calm mood during the whole scene.

Not the most spectacular page from the book but it offers a lot of great moments.

Indeed, great attention to details that convey the usual fluidity to Pacheco's storytelling, especially enhanced by Merino's inking. Really happy for you that you managed to get a page from that story you love so much.
