Art is for page 9 of "John Wayne Adventures" #3, published by Toby Press, Inc. June 1950. Page features six panels from "The Claws Of Death" story, showing John Wayne climbing tree to rope killer mountain lion and succeeding, much to his companion's amazement. The Duke appears in four panels, w/great Frazetta big cat action. Top margin has inked "John Wayne" title and issue/page numbers. Lower left has Toby Press, Inc. inkstamp. Bottom right of last panel has been signed in black ink by Williamson. Back has some scattered inking and penciling, neither affecting front's display. Artboard has some dust soiling to margins and faint streak on staining to first and second panels, but o/w art is VF.
